Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international airport in Delhi late in the evening. Transfer to your hotel. Relax. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast will be at Delhi. Proceed for a full day tour of Old & Delhi. Enjoy the DANCES OF INDIA in the evening. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Early morning transfer for flight to Jodhpur. Reach and proceed to Jaisalmer by surface. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaisalmer.

Day 04: Jaisalmer
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sight-seeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. Stay overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 05: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Proceed in the morning after a leisurely breakfast and reach Jodhpur. Relax in the hotel and visit the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE. Overnight will be at Jodhpur.

Day 06: Varanasi - Udaipur
Transfer to airport in the morning for flight to Udaipur. Reach and check in at hotel.
Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

Day 07: Udaipur - Jaipur
Proceed for sight-seeing tour of Udaipur after breakfast, stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard.

Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 08: Jaipur
Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Visit a rug factory and see the ladies at the intricate work or a gem factory and see the gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 09: Jaipur - Agra
Proceed for Agra after breakfast. Visit Itmadullah's Tomb built by Empress NOOR JEHAN in memory of her father (The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj). Spend the night at Agra.

Day 10: Agra - Varanasi
Proceed for sight-seeing of TAJ MAHAL after breakfast. Overnight will be at Varanasi.

Day 11: Varanasi - Delhi
Drive very early morning to The Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. See the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions.

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Delhi is a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern. Day 02 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, half day city tour of Old & New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658; drive past Red Fort; Visit Humayun Tomb: built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar, drive past India Gate, Parliament House, Connaught Place. The city tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple. Afternoon, leave for Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in at prebooked hotel Jaipur.

Day 03 : Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Amber Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatoyr built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal.

Day 04 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast, leave for Agra. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra in the evening and checkin at prebooked hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 : Agra
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structues; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Day 06 : Agra - Jhansi, Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
After breakfast, transfer to the railway station to board train for Jhansi at 0800 hrs. Arrive Jhansi at 1025 hrs and board our vehicle to drive you to Khajuraho. Enroute visit Orcha. Arrive Khajuraho and check in at prebooked hotel.

Day 07 : Khajuraho - Delhi
After breakfast, visit the eastern & western group of temples famous for their erotic scultpures. Later, transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi meet and assist at the airport and transfer to prebooked hotel.

Day 08 : Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport to board flight back home or onward destination.

Rajasthan Ornaments

Both Men and Women wear ornaments but with the passage of time, men are giving up their use.The ornaments of gold and silver are more prevalent in Rajasthan. There are certain ornaments which are used by men. In daily use the ladies wear normal ornaments of neck, hand, nose and ear but on special occasions and social functions. Women wear all the ornaments of different parts of the body to look beautiful and attractive. For its exquisite designs and delicacy of art Rajasthan Jewelry is a rage not only for ladies of India but also for women of foreign countries.

Ornaments for the head

The ladies of the royal family of Rajasthan wore atleast half a dozen kinds of hair jewellery at one time, each with its own name and specific function. The most common head jewel is the bindi, which has a central pendant hanging from a string of fine pearls and is worn down the parting of the hair with the pendant resting in the middle of the forehead A variant of this is called the borla in which the central pendant is semi-spherical and set with precious stones and a fringe of fine pearls. Chains of gold, shaped like the lotus and other flowers are worn across the length of the plait. There are flower-shaped hair pins and hair combs beautifully enamelled and set with stones.

Ornaments for the nose
The nath is a nose ornament which, when worn, is considered to bring good fortune. It is often a ring of fine gold with a pearl threaded between two rubies in its central part. There are many other kinds of nose rings as well.
Ornamentation for the ears

The kinds of earrings worn are too many to enumerate, but the main styles are the karanphool jhumka, literally the flower of the ear, shaped like a star. The phool jhumka is like a bell shaped flower, toti is the image of a parrot, lathan is the image of a grape, papal patti is shaped like a pipal leaf. A special type of earring is one which runs along the entire shape of the outer ear with an ear top and jhoomka attached to the lower half. Sometimes, strings of fine pearls run from the earring into the hair, and pearls are also threaded through the hair.

Ornaments for the foot
The foot ornaments are of two types- the toe rings and the anklets. The toe rings for the big toe are and are called amvat. The rings for the other toes are modelled in the shapes of fish, flowers, or just circles of gsaranules on the surface. There are also double toe rings which cover the entire toe. There is a great exuberance in the designs of the anklets.

Ornaments for the waist
The women also wear girdles and belts around their waists. These are usually made of gold and set with rubies emeralds and diamonds. Belts are usually broad bands of flattened, twisted metal in silver or gold, encrusted with gems, and embossed with exquisite designs. They are usually finished off with clusters of beads at the rims. The Kardhani is made of various chains, each a little longer than the previous one and all held together with metalbands.

Ornaments for the arm
The wearing of ornainentv, on the wrists and forearm follows a special pattern. The smallest bangle to fit the wrist is the kada, which is a thick rounded bangle with various decorations on it. The two ends are usually carved with replicas of the heads of animals and birds like elephants, lions or parrots. Then come bangles, any number of them in various shapes and designs. Here may be the chuda which is sometimes made of ivory inlaid With gold. The last item is the pail, which is a plain bangle that highlights the ostentation of therest of the ornaments that go before it.

Ornaments for the neck
Jewellery for the neck is one of the most important items of jewellery and there is a bewildering range strings, sometimes with rubies and emeralds strung with them or with gem studded pendants, are worn double and triple strings. There is the chandan haar (a necklace gold sequins), the mohanmala ( anecklace of beads resembling melon seeds), champakali (a string of flowers stylised in the shape of the champa), the mohurn, the jugnu, the hansli(a gold collar or ring, thick in the middle and tapering towards the ends)

Fateh Sagar Lake (Udaipur)
Fateh Sagar Lake is another man-made lake, constructed by Maharana Jai Singh. Later on Maharana Fateh Singh got this lake reconstructed. So, the lake got named after him only. It is situated in Udaipur to the north of Lake Pichola.

Gadsisar Lake (Jaisalmer)
Gadsisar Lake in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India is a prime among the important tourist attractions in Jaisalmer. Its historic importance lies in the fact that it was the only water source for the Jaisalmer city in the bygone days.

Ana Sagar Lake (Ajmer)
Ana Sagar Lake is a man-made lake situated in the city of Ajmer. It is named after the emperor Anaji Chauhan, who got it constructed during 1135 -1150 AD.

Pushkar Lake
Pushkar Lake is an artificial lake in Rajasthan state of western India. It is located near the town of Pushkar in Ajmer District.

Kailana Lake
Located 11 kms off the Jaisalmer Road, Kailana Lake is a picturesque lake. It is an artificial lake on the Jaisalmer Road. Kailana Lake is amazingly beautiful lake, which is also an idyllic picnic spot. One can witness the spectacular sunsets and cherish the beauty of the place.

Gaib Sagar Lake (Dungarpur)
A famous shrine of Shrinathji lies along the lake. The shrine is a conglomeration of several exquisitely built temple with one main temple. The Vijay Raj Rajeshwar Temple, Dedicated to Lord Shiv is an architectural splendor and a fine example of craftsmanship of the shilips of Dungapur.

Pichola Lake (Udaipur)
Beautiful Lake Pichola was enlarged by Maharaja Udai Singh II after he founded the city. He built a masonry dam, known as the Badipol, and the lake is now 4km long and 3 km wide.

Sardar Samand Lake (Jodhpur)
Near the lake stands classy art-deco summer palace of Maharaja Umaid Singh, the Sardar Samand Lake Resort - yet another feather in the cap of Welcome-Heritage Group. The lake resort affords one of the most breathtaking views of the magnificent lake.

Lake Pichola (Udaipur)
Lake Pichola has a masonry dam popularly known as the Badipol, which is 4 km long and 3 km wide. However, it is not very deep and it is not unusual that one can walk up to the island palaces from the shore during severe droughts.

Rajasmand Lake (Udaipur)
Not very far away from Udaipur, on the way to Kumbhalgarh lies a place called Rajasmand. The place is known for its scenic Rajasmand Lake which was built by Rana Raj Singh in the year 1660 AD.

Jaisamand Lake Lake (Udaipur)
Jaisamand Sanctuary is situated 50 kms south of Udaipur the picturesque city of lakes verdant valleys and hills. It is on the bank of Jaisamand Lake, the second largest artificial Lake in Asia. The sanctuary extends over an area of 52 sq kms of thick forests land.

Gadsisar Lake Jaisalmer
Gadsisar Lake is the only source of water supply for the city. Built by Maharwal Garsisingh, this lake was intended to serve as a reservoir to conserve rainwater.
